The cooking class provided a delicious insight into local cuisine. The shower leaked throughout our stay.

Very good service and great value. Breakfast with cheese and fruit, as for instance. Particularly good and excellent location close to local attractions and secure area.

The location was comfortable, close to a sizable 16th - century monastery. The hotel itself was in a nice quiet area, close to the central plaza, the centre of town and a nice quiet area close to the town centre. Truly enjoyed our a nice size room equipped with balcony, a great shower, as for instance...

The tranquil garden was perfect! The staff, especially Natalia, were super helpful, providing great local tips. Only downside was the dark room I had-wish it was brighter during the day 😊

This place is a gem! The garden is chill, perfect for hanging out, and the staff? Super friendly, especially Joseph, the night guard. He really helped us when we had transportation issues. Plus, the hot showers were just what we needed after our long days exploring.

The breakfast buffet fell short. It lacked variety and was often left unrefilled. Internet access was disappointing in the room, limiting my ability to connect with friends online, though the garden offered better reception. Communication from reception was sluggish, with delayed responses to messages, made planning trips a hassle.

We loved the relaxing courtyard and took an amazing cooking class. The staff was super helpful with planning our trips to local hotspots like the Santa Catalina Monastery and the beautiful Colca Canyon. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend staying here!

The early morning noise from the cooking classes was a bit much. We hoped to lounge and relax but it was hard to do so after 11am.

It was just a suitable option for a swift stopover in Arequipa with good value. The staff was helpful with an early check-in, made my arrival smooth. Check the breakfast timing to make sure it matches your schedule.

Solo traveler oasis

I booked a city tour through the staff and it was superb, they took care of everything! The garden was just as glorious as the pictures, perfect for reading and unwinding after a long day.

It wasn't the cheapest option available but worth it for the experience you get.

Our King Room was huge and had super comfy beds! There were lots of charging sockets, a desk, and a nice bathroom with a hot shower. The quiet environment helped us sleep well, and I loved that we could access Netflix on the TV. Plus, the garden outside was beautiful for hanging out. It's just a short walk to the main square, a big plus too.

Arriving at this amazing place after a rough 48 hours of travelling felt like coming home. The insanely helpful staff would stop at nothing to make our stay perfect. The hotel is beautifully situated near the main plaza and has a large, sun-covered patio for breakfast and relaxing. The king size room was spacious and equipped with a high-quality bed and a nice bathroom. Casa De Avila will fail its guests at nothing in terms of facilities. The real distinctive point is the mind-blowing hospitality and service of the staff. We would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in the city.

The location was peaceful and within walking distance of a grand square, the rooms were modern with a large and very comfortable bed, and the staff were attentive.

Great location, close to Plaza de Armas. Spacious, quiet room. Staff helpful with early breakfast. Activities available. Will stay again.
